Here you'll learn all about me: my interests and hobbies, the people in my family, my pets, and more. I am a UW-Stevens
Point Graduate ('75, '78) and have an honorary doctorate from Ripon College.
This home page and website will provide information about where and what I teach, what my students have done over the 31
years that I have taught, and what I bring to the classroom. I also coach soccer and track so there will be information
about this as well. The primary focus will be on Biology in the high school and projects we have done or will do.
I hope you enjoy the information and perhaps inquire for materials or ideas.

What's New? The upcoming school year looks promising. I normally teach 4 sections
of cell biology and one section of Biology 105, the CAPP course through UW-Oshkosh. The second semester will be different
since the electives are offered. The scheduled classes are Botany, Human Biology, Zoology, and Marine Biology, Ecology,
or Genetics depending on the year. The Bio 105 class spends one quarter in research and one quarter on various topics
in Biology. The electives allow students to make choices about what they would like to take as well as provide exposure
to various career options.
